Thunderbolt Locks are compatible with most doors as long as you can either install the lock inside the door or surfave mount it. Below, select the number of doors you want to secure and either M1 or M2 locks to see the recommended equipment. M1 locks operate from your vehicle’s key fob, while M2 locks use a Thunderbolt key fob. Keep in mind some RV doors will need special brackets. Contact us for support.
Equipment Required for RV Doors
Option 1: One Door - M1 Lock (Controlled from your Key Fob)
(1) M1 Locks (side doors)

Option 2: Three Doors - M1 Locks (Controlled from your Key Fob)
(2) M1+ Locks (Cab Doors)
(1) M1 Locks (Side Door)
(1) Keyed Release (Driver Door)

Option 3: One Door - M2 Lock (Controlled from Thunderbolt® Key Fob)

Note: Lock Conversion Relays are not required when using M2 locks.
Option 4: Three Doors - M2 Locks (Controlled from Thunderbolt® Key Fob)
(3) M2 Locks (All Four Doors)
(1) Keyed Release (Driver Door)
(1) Distribution Block (not required but highly recommended)
Note: Lock Conversion Relays are never required when using M2 locks.
