Lock Conversion Relays (LCRs)

Many vans are at risk of theft through a simple method: a thief breaks the front window, opens the door, and presses the unlock button to gain access to the cargo area. If your van is vulnerable to this tactic, Thunderbolt Locks offers a reliable solution with our Lock Conversion Relays. Once installed, these relays ensure that the unlock button in the cab only functions when the key is in the ignition, adding an extra layer of security to protect your valuable cargo. Watch the videos below to learn more.

NOTE: We suggest ordering (2) LCR for your van which will get installed in the cab doors. However, first check to see if you can connect one at the BCM under the glove box. If you are able to connect one at the BCM you can return the unused LCR for a full refund.
