M1+ Lock Overview

The M1+ Lock seamlessly integrates with your factory key fob for convenient operation.

• M1+ – Includes a built-in lock inhibitor an added safety feature.

The lock inhibitor in the M1+ prevents the deadbolt from engaging while the ignition is on, ensuring passenger safety.

Choosing the Right Lock:

• If securing a door where a passenger may be present, choose the M1+ with the lock inhibitor. Usually in front doors.
• If securing the cargo doors of a work van (where no passengers ride), choose the M1 without the lock inhibitor.

Important Installation Notes

• Sliding Doors: If installing an M1+ in a sliding door, you must order a Contact Switch for each sliding door. The contact switch enables the inhibitor connection.
• Front Door Installation: Always install a Keyed Manual Release when adding a lock to any front door. This ensures access in case of battery or actuator failure. Without it, you risk being locked out or facing a difficult lock assembly removal. Find the product here.
