The raised strike bracket gets installed on the rear “driver-side” door to allow for the lock to be installed inside the rear “passenger” side door. it can also be used to span the gap on front doors of the Chevy Express and the Ford E-Series.
The bracket is needed for the REAR Door of the Following Vans:
Mercedes Sprinter, Mercedes Metris, Ford Transit, Ford Transit Connect, ProMaster, ProMaster City, Nissan NV 200.
Note: It is NOT needed on the rear door of the following: Nissan NV 2500, Chevy Express, Ford E-Series
The bracket is needed for the FRONT Cab Doors of the Following Vans:
Chevy Express and Ford E-Series.
